NAFC is proud announce that its Forensic Certification Program is a candidate for accreditation through the Forensic Specialties Accreditation Board. Application for accreditation was submitted on May 1, 2010. NAFC will be reviewed during 2010-2011.

The Forensic Specialties Accreditation Board (FSAB) was created with the support and grant assistance of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and the United States Department of Justice National Institute of Justice in order to establish standards and monitor the quality and consistency of credentialing forensic specialists by the various forensic boards.
